Systems, Events & What’s Coming Next

Over the past weeks we’ve been focusing on something that matters more than frequent small updates: building systems that will shape the future of Minearchy.
Some of these features are already live, others are being polished, and a few larger additions have now officially entered development.
Here’s what has been happening behind the scenes.

🏁 Minekart - Now Playable

Our racing minigame Minekart is live and playable on the network. Over the last weeks we’ve continued polishing gameplay, improving performance, and expanding the map pool.
Both maps bring their own style of racing and help expand the Minekart experience as we continue refining the core systems.
Development is still ongoing as we polish the final features and make improvements where needed.
To celebrate the progress, we are planning something special.

🏆 Minekart Race Competition

Once polishing is complete we will host a Minekart racing competition with real-world prizes.
This event will act as the official showcase for Minekart and we’re excited to see players compete on the tracks.

✨ Upcoming System Update

One of the biggest updates currently in development is a new cosmetics and progression system.
This update will introduce:
• Resourcepack-based cosmetics
• Cross-server cosmetic syncing
• Rank and store integration
• New cosmetic content

Several cosmetics have already been implemented, including new hats, and the system is continuing to expand.
This update will also mark the gradual retirement of GadgetsMenu.
Don’t worry though, your MDust currency will not disappear. We plan to preserve it and integrate it into the new system.

📈 Quest-Based Progression

Launching alongside the cosmetics update will be a new progression system.
Players will be able to complete quests to earn points and unlock rewards as they level up.
The idea is similar to a battlepass, but designed around gameplay progression rather than pay-to-win mechanics.
Through quests and progression players will unlock cosmetics, features, and additional rewards while playing across Minearchy.

🎮 New Custom Minigame - MineFortress 

Development has officially started on a brand new custom minigame MineFortress 
This will be a fully custom plugin and a complete standalone minigame.
Players will be able to choose classes, play on nostalgic map designs, and compete in team-based gameplay.
This is one of the larger projects currently in production and we’re excited to bring a completely new experience to Minearchy.

🎉 Events This Month

🥚 Easter Egg Hunt (SMP)
Hidden eggs have appeared across the SMP world. Players can explore, search, and collect rewards while discovering different parts of the server.

🧊 Ice Boat Design Challenge
The Ice Boat challenge is a hub-based minigame experience that highlights creative gameplay design and gives players a fun challenge while exploring the hub.

🌍 The Direction of Minearchy

Our focus going forward is building systems that give Minearchy more depth and identity.
This includes expanding our minigames, building long-term progression systems, and continuing to improve performance and infrastructure.
Minigames will continue to grow into larger and more complex experiences, while SMP remains a relaxed gamemode where players can explore, grind, and progress at their own pace.
